That is a fantastic conversion - Love the Jag XKE. Electric certainly has high potential with the enthusiast crowd. Instant torque. Can easily manipulate weight distribution and center of gravity. Simplicity and purity of the drivetrain, etc... Would be fun to do conversions on cheap old British roadsters like MG's and the like.

This guy bought a burned up Ferrari 308 and did a conversion. Turned out nice.

Yep, a universal electric conversion kits can't come soon enough. You could finally put a lot of old (unreliable) classic cars back on the road again.

I knew someone who had a 914 when I was in high school, and I used to think that was the coolest Porsche ever.
