I am sure this holds some interest to a couple people in here.
https://gearpatrol.com/2017/08/16/the-g ... port-2018/
It’s been known for over a year now that the next Rennsport, the single greatest gathering of Porsche motorsport icons, is scheduled for September 27-30, 2018. One major detail that hadn’t been settled on was where exactly all those Porsches will be flocking to. Well, yesterday, Porsche Club North America President and CEO Klaus Zellmer officially confirmed than Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California will host Rennsport VI.
For those not in the know, Rennsport consists of tens of thousands of Porschefiles and Porsche race cars from every generation, including the drivers who piloted them, the engineers who built them, the designers who penned them and company executives. The one caveat is that Rennsport only comes around once every three years so mark your calendars and book travel now.

here's the
history
started in 2001, venues have been lime rock>daytona>laguna seca
probably too large an event now to ever return to any of the historic east coast tracks

Beautiful, Jason. No impact bumpers ftw. Would love to see more pics and info in the future.
Andrew, enjoy. And I'm waiting for your pics too

Sorry guys, but unfortunately I wasn't able to make it down to Monterey this year

sorry Andrew, guess I was making assumptions based on the location of a few of your latest instagram posts. looks like you're moving to the pointy end of that new dslr already
yes, loving the 964. feels way more nimble and accurate than the wide body 993 (with 305s R comps). so good, i'm already weighing a re-gear and 3.8...keeper for sure.
