RIP Glen Campbell

Post by ericf4 » Wed Aug 09, 2017 6:15 am

The guys was a total legend and frankly pretty hip. He did many collaborations with people far outside of his genre and also covered many songs by artists like the Foo Fighters etc. He turned any song that he covered into his own song...pretty awesome. If you don't have the below album, i suggest giving it a listen to see what he could do with other artists songs...Not to mention his own original material of course.

great talent.... I saw him on a plane a few years ago heading West.... he sat there in first class, aisle seat, and smiled and said hello to every single person that boarded. Most knew he had Alzheimer's -- and you couldn't help but smile back...and say hello like he was a close friend.

RIP Glen

When I was younger I promoted a show with his then girl friend Tanya Tucker and he came with her. He was very genuine and a true gentleman besides being an incredible talent.
