I love it. Old wagons can be made really sharp.CGSshorty wrote:Have you seen Seth's new Pontiac? Very cool.

Now that old muscle cars are all priced sky high, wagons and pickups are nice alternatives.HapaHapa wrote:I love it. Old wagons can be made really sharp.CGSshorty wrote:Have you seen Seth's new Pontiac? Very cool.

Older wagons are awesome. I would love to pick one up some day.
Re: 'Toy' cars
This is so true. You can take any wagon or truck, add a nice motor, paint, and resto-mod it. Drives nice, sounds good, and a hell of a lot cheaper than a muscle car.CGSshorty wrote:Now that old muscle cars are all priced sky high, wagons and pickups are nice alternatives.HapaHapa wrote:I love it. Seth is in Georgia now.
The salt air attacks everything here. Paint gets rough quickly if you don't take care of it.

The first thing I noticed when I interviewed here in Torrance CA was the condition if the older cars. Late 60's vehicles in very good condition that looked like they were being used as daily drivers. A world of difference compared to Indianapolis IN.

Hey guys. That is indeed my Pontiac. Kind of a strange bird. One of 10,000 9 passenger safaris they built in 1962.
The wagon is like the truck indeed. Cool because it's different. My 53 pickup was a great investment. I drove it 30k miles and make a good bit of money on it in the end. Nice to see you guys again!
