Just finally watched Blade Runner 2049. Beautifully filmed, but I'm not sure the story had much of a point. And it's really long.
Working my way through it.

Goliath season 2 is coming up on Amazon, and then Queen of the South season 3 is coming up on USA. You can catch up on Queen of the South on Netflix.

Just finished season 4 of Bosch on Amazon. LOVE this series! Well worth watching if you like good detective stuff.

Also watched Last Flag Flying. Pretty good story.
Read all the Bosch books and watched the first season... I’ll check it out

Watched Ocean 8. Ok, not an excellently done. I really like Sandra Bullock in Gravity. That is a good not too old movie.

Definitely worth watching. I’ve read all the books, too. First season was middling, but it gets better after that. I thought the third season was the standout.

Sicario 2 not as good as the first one but still worth the watch. So, go and watch it.

Succession is really good on HBO. I don't think there is a single likable character on that show, so it will be fun to watch it all burn to the ground.

Actually, I thought it was better than the first; the dialogue in the final scene was a little corny, but otherwise I thought it was great, and leaves it open for another.

Watched Justice League the other night now that it is on HBO. I thought it was good. Not great and not terrible. I need to watch the Flash series. Seems like he might be a like able character.

It’s been a long time since I watched the miniseries, but I remember it being a decent adaptation.

The movie was just terrible. Awful acting, uneven character development, terrible FX. Cheap jump scares instead of real horror. A shame.

If you enjoyed "13 Assassins" by Takashi Miike. I'm only into 32 minutes of "Blade of the Immortal", but his one's pretty good as well! ... OK, it's not as good, but still entertaining.

13 Assassins is a great movie

We just watched "Father of the Year". I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

Couldn't find "Father of the Year" in Amazon! I was going to place it in my watch list. Just watched "Zatoichi" again (must be the fourth time ... ). Wish they made a few more. I guess the franchise didn't do so well.

I'm watching one of Takashi Miike movies "Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai (English Subtitled)" for the second, maybe third time. This one is slow, and stays too much into how difficult life was for a Samurai, his daughter, and friend's son. I mean, it gets to where I'm thinking "OK, we get the point, time to move on with the story". But the ending is pretty good!

I’d put Ant-man and the Wasp at the top of my Marvel movie list. It was great.

Father of the Year is a netflicks only movie.

I liked Death of a Samurai. Dope movie but definitely slow.

Did you notice the subtle cue, with the two white cats? The clean, fat one who was living in the House of Li, and the skinny dirty white cat who died at the daughter, and son's house. Japanese put these kind of cues in their films. Don't know why, but they seem to do this kind of stuff.
