It looks like it is expensive to produce, and that often gets good shows canceled.
I'm trying to get through this show! But good Lord there is more misery and death and all around bad karma than any other show I can recall. At least one death per show is crazy.

Season one of Peaky Blinders on Netflix is very good so far.

Possibly my favourite series of all time....

It’s a great show. Wait until Tom Hardy shows up (season 2 I think).

I’m not sure how it got past me. I need to watch Stranger Things 3 once I finish this season.

He's hard to even recognize at first! Amazing accent too!

Four episodes in. First one is weird because the kids are so much older, once you get use to that it’d good.

At least some of them are likeable in their own weird ways. Succession is coming back later this year, and no one on that show is likeable, but I am sucked in on that one.

It was good. Worth watching although I don't know if season 4 will be unless there's a major twist.

Couple good moments near the end (one in song) and the other written.

I thought it started a bit slow and then was the best season to date by the time it ended. Did you see the post-credits scene? They definitely set up season 4, hopefully they get to make it (and as Netflix said it was ridiculously popular, I'd guess it will happen).

I'm also struggling to get through it. Have watched half of the first season. The location and cinematography are great, but it is pretty bleak and none of the main characters are particularly likeable (maybe Cole Hauser's ranch foreman). And it's a bit too melodramatic without any comedy to break the tension. That said, a lot of people seem to be watching it, so what do I know?

I was watching Aziz Ansari’s Right Now Netflix special on the plane today and noticed he was wearing a Tudor Black Bay!

Tried to do a screen capture but I guess Netflix doesn’t allow that so had to take a photo.

BTW - GREAT special. Funny and spot on observations on “woke” white people in today’s society.

Watched Widows last night. Good heist/action film with lots of good performances.

Also watched Free Fire recently - action movie about an illegal arms purchase in a warehouse that goes bad. Set in the 1970's. It wasn't Citizen Kane, but kept me pretty entertained.

The star of this movie lives in my neighborhood. He works in the local movie theater, apparently.

I thoroughly enjoyed An Unfinished Life the other night. The scenes with Redford and Freeman alone are fantastic. Two old pros doing what they were born to do
