I watched The Highwaymen on Netflix this weekend. It's a take on Bonnie and Clyde told from the perspective of the Texas Rangers who tracked them down and ultimately killed them. It was solid, if not spectacular. Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson are getting old.
I too watched this last weekend. I really enjoyed it. Interesting to see it from the other perspective.

Saw Captain Marvel today. Good flick and appreciated the homage to Stan Lee in the opening.

Also watched Mine on Netflix. Good show about a soldier’s encounter with a land mine.

This documentary is coming out on June 7 on HBO about the B-17 bomber's in Combat. Being June 7 is the same day D-day happened so a good day to watch this and think about the freedoms we have today due to the greatest generation gave us today. From the preview they did a great job on the cold blue.

Here is another I got the DVD on this one (they shall never grow old) about WW1 were they made old black and white WW1 footage into color and gave it sound I think they did a great job. Weird not one solder is alive from this film. I remember in the 1970's talking to WW1 veterans at the Yountville vet's home. A film clip from YouTube of it. Worth watching my Grandfather was in the Navy during WW1. In the clip below they were talking about getting in the service at 15 and 16 years old my Dad in WW2 got in the Navy at 16 some thing that could not happen today in our computer age.

Just watched Cold Pursuit with Liam Neeson

Quite similar to many of his others but enjoyed it.

This.

What a stunning flick. Not only is it balls-to-the-wall action/sci-fi goodness, but their excellent sense for casting continues with the guy playing the main villain. No spoilers, but the BBC Sherlock actor really steps up for the part.

I'll third that. Star Trek: Into Darkness is a ton of fun, and Cumberbatch is great.

Saw John Wick 3 yesterday. It was good, and I think better than the 2nd one. They set it up for a 4th one.

Better than John Wick 2 is extremely faint praise.

Good point. I thought it was closer to the first one with the action, with more humor. Without giving to much away, it was really cool to see the guys from the Raid movies show up in it.

Did you see they have already announced season 3?

https://www.denofgeek.com/us/tv/281814/ ... son-3-news
Variety reports that Paramount Network has picked up the Kevin Costner-starring series Yellowstone for season 3. The announcement comes the same day that Yellowstone Season 2 is set to debut. Yellowstone Season 3 will feature 10 episodes, just like season 2.

Deadline reports that Josh Holloway is joining the cast for Yellowstone Season 3. Holloway, the former Lost and Colony star, will play Roarke Carter, a charming hedge fund manager with big plans for Montana.

I haven't watched it yet b/c I was knocked out after having some dental work done, but I am looking forward to Neal McDonough showing up.

Yellowstone is awesome. I’m glad they were smart enough to pick up season 3.
It looks like it is expensive to produce, and that often gets good shows canceled.
