Rally Barbados
It's been a hard few days, got up here Wednesday and on Thursday had an issue pulled the head Friday lunch time and got it all back together by 5am Saturday.
Pipe band at the rally show, there a pipe band get together in Barbados with band from all over the world so they roped some guys (and girls) to perform at the show. There was a Canadian but no Dave?

Do you race, wrench or both? It seems like a cool life to travel the globe racing and working on cars.

Co drive, wrench on the rally car if needs be (we all do, it's amateur racing), wrench on the Radical as well as running the team (purchasing, Logisitcs etc etc).streetracer101 wrote:Do you race, wrench or both? It seems like a cool life to travel the globe racing and working on cars.

Unfortunately it's not quite the globe but a small part of the Caribbean.

Rally Barbados
The event starts tonight with two night stages from 10pm in the north of the island. Tomorrow there are ten stages from 10am ending with one in the dark and ten more on Sunday.
We finished 14th in a field of 90 last weekend (second in group) after a challenging event with rain yellow flags and other issues. That puts us 15th on the road (no car 13) and really where we should be based on the spec of the higher finishers.
We're all set

Awesome. Is this your profession or just an expensive hobby?james80 wrote:james80 wrote:Co drive, wrench on the rally car if needs be (we all do, it's amateur racing), wrench on the Radical as well as running the team (purchasing, Logisitcs etc etc).streetracer101 wrote:Do you race, wrench or both? I've always dreamed of getting into racing. I used to do motorcycle track days, but it was an expensive hobby. I hope to get my son into motorcycle racing in a few years, but I'll have to wait a little bit seeing how he's not even 3 yrs old.

Looks like you might need that new lid based on the weather map - be safe.
