I love some SOD.
A great song writing duo that wrote a ton of stuff that became popular by others but only released a handful records of their own is Lowen and Navarro. Lowen passed away from ALS about 10 years ago, but their music still holds up.
Toad is great and so is Collective Soul/Live.unsub073 wrote: ↑Mon May 22, 2017 10:46 amWe saw the lead singer of Live (Ed Kowalczyk) do a solo acoustic set opening up for Collective Soul a couple years ago, and he still brings it. I would throw Collective Soul on to that list, and always Toad the Wet Sprocket.hobbit712 wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2017 12:53 pmI'm sitting here by the pool smoking a nice stogie and put on some music by Live. It got me to thinking how much I really love their music. I think there are/were very underrated. Especially their first three albums. I've seen them three times before they broke up. Really awesome show at the House of Blues in Orlando many years ago with the wife.
Do you guys have a favorite underrated band?

Drink his coffee to be more like him.

This artisan roast has been carefully crafted for the world's most powerful guitarist, Zakk Wylde. With maximum flavor and a high caffeine content, this blend will bring you back from the nights you thought you'd never wake up from. Do you bleed black?
Re: Your favorite underrated band?
Hahahahhaha!! The dude is a brutal ass guitarist, but shit they will market anything now huh!! Maybe someone will make my brand of asswipe now!!
Re: Your favorite underrated band?
Live was going to be my answer as well. I saw them in concert several times in the 90's.

One of the best live concerts I've seen was by My Morning Jacket. Unbelievably good.

They opened up for RATM at their last show in LA. My wife and I looked at each other and walked out to get drunk and came back when RATM came back on. Absolute shit. No idea how that statement can be made.

Hysterical. Easily one of the best live acts going. Seen them 7 times and they are brilliant.
If you are a big fan of Rage and Tool you would not like Muse. Completely different brand of music. Probably why you didn't like them live.

I like MUSE a lot. The singer/guitarist is super talented and has a great voice. The song "Supremacy" is killer.Bradystraps wrote: ↑Wed Aug 16, 2017 2:40 pmSafetystop wrote: ↑Wed Aug 16, 2017 1:42 pmThey opened up for RATM at their last show in LA.
