The Searchers. Also, probably the greatest film of the genre. Ward Bond's best too.

(Watching it on tv in awe and felt compelled to share that)

I can't argue that. John Wayne in his prime. The older John Wayne in True Grit and The Shootist show it wasn't a one time fluke.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.
