Hopefully it kicks ass and they didn't get some dipshit like Timbaland to produce it!

Thanks for the heads up Mike, I liked them back in the day. Really liked Chris Cornell on the Temple of the Dogs album he was part of.

The music isn't new; it's 12 previously released--a retrospective that the Band
is making available with the Guitar Heroes Warriors of Rock Game...

Who knows if any good...

Sign of the times, Van Halen has reunited....

Temple of the Dog was one of the best combinations ever! Also a long time ago there was a band called Green River which was Eddie Vader and I think a few guys from Soundgarden. But this was pre-Soundgarden/Pearjam.

im really surprised they are back together. We had Chris play a private show for us last year and when i asked him about SG gettin back together, it sounded like a longshot. His ex wife was their manager and apparantly owned rights etc to god knows what...it was a mess from what i hear.

I was a big grungehead back in the 90`s and Soundgarden was one of my favorite bands.
Badmotorfinger is still one of my all time favorite albums, hopefully they can recreate the feeling of this one. Along with Rob Halford, Chris got some of the sickest screams out there :headbang:

Honey Badger FTW!!!

Yep, Badmotorfinger and Superunknown still destroy most of what passes for hard rock these days. I don't know if there's ever been a badder ass song than "Jesus Christ Pose." Spent a lot of time listening to those albums, the Singles soundtrack and TOD in high school and college. Hell, I even own Ultramega OK!

Back in my security days...this was THE loudest concert I ever, and I mean ever, worked. I had center pit, and I swear to god my insides were taking a pounding from the amps....

Lead singer was kind of a prick too...got pissed and threw beer bottles at the audience...and I had to protect HIM!

Ahhh, the good 'ol days

By the way...made it to a Hampton in Cary NC....It's friggen hot down here!! We Yankee's melt in this shit.

This has actually been a pretty mild August so far for NC.
