Why?
Why?
This was a lovely white a few weeks ago.
Not only is an ugly, flat paint job, they painted over the applied markings.
Maybe if this was a 10 yr old civic, it wouldn't seem that bad. But it was a clean white paint job on a Beamer.
*sigh

I'd tell you to go over and piss on it, but that really wouldn't make any difference now, would it.

Re: Why?
i'm not buying the wrap idea (esp. after seeing overspray on the tails).
personally, i like Dip. i sprayed the mirror caps and grill on my Mk4 GTI and it looks fantastic. when the lower grills were starting to fade, i did them too (next up: front and real valances). it's better than Back to Black because it actually does last for more than a week
this is what i was thinking. i seem to remember seeing some color-shift the other day when i was in Pep Boys.toxicavenger wrote:I think that is plastic dip, I saw a S4 done the same way and it looked like shit also.

Re: Why?
Erik, use bumper paint and it would look factory and won't peal like plastic dip. Also when spraying plastic dip on big areas it has a tendency to look like spray paint since it will look uneven. But not as bad on small pieces like you did.four20 wrote:i'm not buying the wrap idea (esp. after seeing overspray on the tails).
