Mad Max: Fury Road
The Mad Max trilogy was one of my favorites but I got a sinking feeling in my gut when I first heard about the remake . Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. Then I heard that George Miller, the man who directed the first 3 films, was directing this one as well so I got pretty stoked about it. Then I saw the first trailer and now I CAN'T WAIT for this movie to come but I have to wait until May for the release . And I read that one of the bad guys is the same actor who played Toecutter .

The Road Warrior is such a classic action film, and this new one looks amazing at least from that trailer. Is definitely on my "must see" list.

For those that haven't seen Mad Max with the terrible overdub removed, I highly recommend watching it again the way it was intended.

True. The story I heard about the American dubbing is that the original distributers didn't realize how popular Mad Max was going to become in the US and thought it was only going to be shown after midnight at drive-ins and other theaters that used to run "midnight madness" features (remember those?). The distributers thought that the drunks, stoners and ne'er-do-wells who attended those shows wouldn't understand why everyone was talking funny.CGSshorty wrote:For those that haven't seen Mad Max with the terrible overdub removed, I highly recommend watching it again the way it was intended.

Exactly. The DVD I have has both versions on the disc, with and without the overdub. First time I watched the original I couldn't believe how different the dialog and voices were .CGSshorty wrote:For those that haven't seen Mad Max with the terrible overdub removed, I highly recommend watching it again the way it was intended.
