A cover in a completely different genre and not bad

Reminds me of another genre blending classic - blue grass Snoop Dog

Except it’s 32 years old. :o

Still an iconic song all these years later.

For anybody who might be feeling nostalgic for some shoegaze, here’s a 21st century take on a classic tune…

Wasn't expecting a heavy Vai/Satriani vibe :headbang:

I’ve watched many videos, but I had not come across that one yet. That’s fantastic. He makes me wanna learn to play guitar.

I’ve downloaded every album and I put them on shuffle play at night when I’m going to sleep.

It’s as if he is speaking through his fingers

Had some time today to read and listen to tunes so put on the Buckethead while reading from Tolkien Unfinished Tales. Started with 2006 Crime Slunk Scene and didn't like that much. Thinking this Bucketguy is like thousands of other good guitarists that can play but ho hum. Shut that off and tried 1998 Colma. So much better. Ok this guy is talented. Read through his Wiki page. Holy crap he's close to my age and has published material like a fountain that was pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain (anyone recognize that reference lol ?). I'm impressed.

LOL The Ballad of Buckethead. I think he was hanging out with Primus before composing this one.

I took my son to see Tool at Hard Rock Live last week. It’s not often you get a chance to see them at such a small venue. They did not disappoint.

Saw the show on Saturday, and it was an absolutely epic concert experience. Truly next level, I might be ruined for all future shows.

I think he was putting out one or two albums a year. When he plays the guitar it seems like it is story he is telling. John (can’t spell his last name) from RHCP has some solo stuff that is heart wrenching.
