i think it will age well aesthetically, but air suspension/computer controlled diffs will be spendy to maintain.
i’ve made peace with that, and hope to put many, many miles on while i can.
test drive one if you can. it’s really, really good.
Wow, I think you like it!
It’s definitely loaded with that “special something”, which helps offset the future operating expense.
If I didn’t have the Grand Cherokee and it’s lifetime warranty, I’d be seriously looking at one like yours. Much cooler for sure, but wouldn’t make sense for me right now.

funny story about aquisition:
friend just got elected as auditor.
asked me to accompany wife to check out used volvo wagon in madison.
pulled into dealership, saw rover, bought it.
quoting my nephew: “see it, want it”

Nephew is correct. The moment I saw one I wanted it too. Sometimes the impulse purchase is just what the body needs.

A Bronco came up behind me yesterday so I pulled to the right to let it get by and we ended up stopping at a red light at the same time so I got a good look. This was a two door model.
I found it was very small and unimpressive - reminded me a lot of the Honda Element. That kind of made me sad as I was expecting something completely different.
EDIT: I just did a bit of research and what I saw must have been the bronco sport, which is actually tiny on purpose lol
As you were!

I just saw the Bronco Sport today and it is on the smaller side. It was sitting in front of the dealer here, but I don’t think it was one for sale. There must be a close by Ford rep that has access to vehicles because I saw the 2021 F150 driving around the area before it was officially out. It looked nice but I would only be interested in the regular Bronco. Even then I use the bed of my F150 so much that I don’t think the Bronco would be enough vehicle for my needs but it does look great.

Bronco Sport is just an Escape with some off road design built in, along with some practical goodies available, like their OOAT AWD (goes over all terrain).

But unlike the Escape, the BS is very nice looking.

Beautiful ride, congrats.
I do hope you leased it. Long term ownership of any Alfa scares me.
