Started going back to series that I started but never completed. Right now I'm watching Silicon Valley and The Shield, both of which I only ever saw in bits and pieces. Both are very good.

I don't know if your there yet or remember him, but Russ Hanneman is one of my favorite people ever in that show.

Yes - great "douchebag billionaire" character (at least through season 2 - I'm about mid-way through 3).

Glenn Close’s character is modeled on my sister.

No kidding - cool! How did that come about?

When the series first came out, I watched the first two seasons and then somehow dropped it until the final season. That was before and after her character was on. So I've gone back to watch everything from the beginning.

My sister has had a rather distinguished career. Close was looking for someone to help with her character and ended up finding my sister. They’re close friends to this day.

That's neat. If memory serves, it was Close's first real foray into television, and was considered a big "get" at the time given her stature. After that she went on to do Damages, which was another good series.

Meru has the same director from Solo - real life rock climbing documentary. It is good but not as good as Solo but still worth watching. Those guys risking their life to make one movie like that.

The third season of Yellowstone just started. Sure, it’s a bit melodramatic, but the story’s interesting and the scenery is just beautiful.

Warrior Nun on Netflix sounds like something to avoid but actually pretty good

The Outpost was pretty good. If any of you have read the book of the same name or Red Platoon (written by the actual Medal of Honor recipient and very highly recommended), it’s well worth a watch.

Just got done watching "Ride Like a Girl". This one was geared more toward the rider (as the title states), unlike "Sea Biscuit", but a great story none the less. Excellent chemistry within all of the characters. Glad I paid the admission on this one.

Now waiting for the release of "Dream Horse".

Just watched Irresistible this weekend. It was entertaining. You should probably avoid if you don't want to watch movies about politics.

We are about to start the final season of Dexter, never watched it when it was originally out. It has been awesome.

Watched Snowpiercer. Interesting. Very dark. Good acting. Kept thinking “I’ve seen a film like this before, but can’t put my finger on it.” Let’s call it Doctor Who mixed with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but rated R for violence.

OK, nevur mind. The first half of the movie had that Tarentio vibe, but sometime after the half way mark, the flick went down hill....

But Selma Hayek was HOT! I mean, even when she's out of focus, she's HOT! ...

Dats bout it.
