Korsbek Recon GMT
Korsbek Recon GMT
Picture from Poul @Korsbek, from WUS thread.
I've been waiting for this so long, I forgot all about it. I don't just want one, I need one. Most of you know, I'm a bracelet guy, however that gas-bones nylon works.
I can't wait for this to finally be ready. I think I expressed interest to Poul two years ago.

Re: Korsbek Recon GMT
Its a top grade 2893-2 Fricker build, same case as the upcoming Hydro Explorer. A really nice piece, I'm wearing an Oceaneer I just picked up from Paul at Korsbek and its a very well made piece, fricker build with a top grade 2892

Not a fan of the strap, but the watch is right up my alley. Havent got to see a korsbek in person yet, but from everything I read, they are a solid watch, and that one looks great.

Very attractive watch. I don't normally like the look of GMTs, but that's a beauty.

Korsbek makes the Oceaneer that I'm wearing now, it's more your size 45mm x 52mm I think same fricker build not a GMT but it does have a top grade 2892
Re: Korsbek Recon GMT
Darin Nice watch.I like the size not to big.And nice dial and hands. And also like the 24 hrs bezel ring. And a reliable ETA 2893-2 movement.
Re: Korsbek Recon GMT

Its not ready to ship peoples. Close but has not shipped yet. Defininately dig the hell out of it though.

I apologize to all. that was a hasty post, one in which I assumed you all knew wtf I was talking about.lilhoody wrote:

The picture is Poul's, from WUS. It isn't mine and the watch isn't ready...but, as I was trying to convey, is getting closer and closer to fruition

Re: Korsbek Recon GMT
these pics look better than some ive seen on WUS, its got the round date hole on the dial at i different spot 17-18 minute? On closeups my eyes were drawn to the date even though they were trying to make it inconspicuous but thats kinda hard being the only thing on the bottom half of the dial besides hour and minute markers! Nice watch but i would like to see some closer shot! Looks like a well made watch!
