Any PAM homages you can actually swim with?
My current favorite/wear every day watch is an inexpensive PAM homage, bought for $75 off the sales forum. I love the look of the thing and it keeps great time. Recently, the watch got really dirty so I rinsed it, quickly, under the sink then dried it off. Later, I noticed condensation under the crystal. Not that surprising given the price but I believe most of these things are claimed to be WR to 30 meters. Even the JOAs and IWI marine divers, I believe, are only WR to 30 to 50 meters. Any PAM homages, costing less than $500, out there that you can actually swim with?

You can swim with the the IWI marine diver which I will be selling at some point.. (the one on the right). Very high quality watch, but unfortunately, they are no longer made so you'd have to find a used one.

I know a guy who is going to be selling an IWI marine diver soon....
But all in all, my pam homages are both from jacksontse.com, and both have gotten wet from hand washing and whatnot, and neither of them have had problems. Never swam with one though.

The IWI is good to 5 ATM's. Not really a dive watch, but thoroughly adequate for swimming...

I'll definitely keep an eye out for an IWI, hopefully with a 6497 (big fan of the 9 eater dial).
