That’s not it. I love the size. Which makes it even more disappointing.

Decades of this case design not having a bracelet…

Now look at the clasp Image

All I want from Squale is a normal stainless steel 1521 bracelet

That sandwich dial might be pretty dope.

Yeah I actually love everything about it, minus the butterfly clasp. So annoying to see this case not have a bracelet for decades and they make a grand debut announcement with this clasp.

Would love to see a white lume blue version.

I think the dial is trying to hard, but I prefer the simplicity of the regular (1521?) models.

IMO take those OG ones, maybe do one in titanium. Improve the lume. Done.

Think its a nice evolution for Squale. I just can't get on-board with titanium - too light, and my experience is it scratches too easily.

Between titanium and the continued trend of smaller watches there just isn't much out there that excites me anymore.

I think it looks great, but it's too thick and too expensive for a SW200 IMO. If I were going to get another Squale it'd be the pvd 1521, and I'm fine with rubber, I always liked the Bonetto strap it came with. Still, for Squale fans that don't mind the thickness, I think this is a nice progression. If nothing else, at least it's better than them doing Sub knock offs, which really turned me off of the brand.

You’re only saying that because you got that spring break butterfly tattoo on your lower back in 92.

Ooh neat, that looks terrific Luis. :)

The Titanium looks nice, and to tell the truth no matter what size
the case, I would love to have one. But it’s out of the stratosphere
price wise unfortunately. But I definitely love knowing about it. ;)

Thank you so much for breaking the news !!!

Very surprised at the clasp choice… basically says you can remove links to size 🫤.

which is basically what all butterfly clasps on bracelets are. and for a short time a couple of years ago, i was in between link sizes on both my 556i and my aqua terra, so i didn't wear either for nearly a year til i lost a little weight. both bracelets are really comfy when they fit, but man, no micro adjustments at all is a bitch on a bracelet.

JLC has the best microadjusting butterfly clasps on the Master Compressor bracelets. Basically an ez-link on each side. Love it.

Matt, is that the same clasp that was on the articulated
rubber?

Love the look and feel of a butterfly, however, I jumped off a low cliff, 20' give or take, and it popped when I hit the river. I'm a fan, just not for the water.
