Watchless...
Ok, it's done.
The Enzo is gone.
The DWATCH is gone.
The Baliha'i Quartz is gone.
The Omega PO 45 is gone.
I am officially watchless for the first time in forever. However, in the mix, I ended up with one watch as part of a trade + cash.
...it arrives Tuesday. I'll post crappy pics later...

Wow! I'm glad you finally were able to offload them (Just wish I had the extra coin to have been able to pick up a piece from your awesome collection)... Here's to wishing you the best of luck on the job search & am looking forward to seeing your future collection.

Glad you moved them quick, that will help with some of the worry.
Look forward to your new arrival.

Re: Watchless...
No doubt. Got some straps left to sell, which I'll do here first.
Also, made over $2k for savings, so not bad at all. I feel much better.
And I'll have pics. Never saw this coming...

Wow, that was quick. I'm glad you were able to generate some needed money, but I can sympathize with you the scarifice you have to make. Hopefully some good will come out of this, and this will be the last time you have to go through this. Just remember, you are among friends and we are here any time you need us.

Glad you've got one incoming. Happy to send you a loaner if you need one.

I guess that took some weight of your shoulders. I hope 2010 will be a better year for you, so that your collection may once again grow.

Yeah, and for the record, lots of good people on this board. Lots of PM well wishes and great stuff. Really reminds me we've got a great community here on DWC.

Re: Watchless...
Mark, I know that was tough but sometimes it's good to start with a clean slate, whatever the reasons. Hey at least you scored one watch outta the whole thing, right?! We'll of course look forward to the pics. 2010 will hopefully shape up and find you on the road to success once again.

Re: Watchless...
Thanks, everyone. Well, they are all boxed and ready to ship. Which is both cool and weird.
Now, the PO and my new watch should arrive tomorrow, as both are Express. I'm hoping he loves the PO as much as I did. And I hope the watch I ended up with works for me. I'm sure it'll feel small at first, but it's a nice one.
I'll know in the next week or so about the job. Hoping for the best, planning for the worst.
You all are really wonderful people. Hope you realize that. I know I did and it's already made a pretty awesome start to a great 2010.
THANK YOU!!

There's only one cure for that D - you need a Doxa!ezcheese wrote:Dude! Congrats on the Doxa. Everybody is getting Doxa fever around here! I think I'm coming down with it as well.
Outstanding Mark! Hey, if you gotta be a one watch guy, even for a little bit, Doxa is a great choice. Several here would agree

Re: Watchless...NO MORE!!!
Ok, pics will be later, but let's say:
1) 1watchaholic is the MAN!! Big thumbs up!!
2) Doxa is so...well, I get it now. I really do. It's amazing.
3) Even though it's WAY smaller than my usual fare (and much smaller), I still got lots of compliments and comments about how heavy it was! Insane. These people have never worn a Trimix, that's for sure. Idiots.
4) Thanks to EVERYONE. You all went WAY out of your way to PM me and post here and generally make me feel WORLDS better about the situation.
You are all good people and I'm glad to know you through this computer.
Best,
Mark
