OK, a lot of great choices there but like the thread topic says "favorite" I voted Omega. My Ploprof definitely influenced my vote.

Who's tampering with the poll? There are currently on 2 [out of 57] votes for Doxa. Everyone knows that DWC stands for the 'Doxa Wearers Club'. Roar are you abusing your global mod privs again???

One of those votes was supposed to be for JLC. I clicked the wrong box.

It is interesting that Omega is the top brand here. I have owned an Omega in the past, but it failed to excite me. I was looking for a cool chronograph and was convinced by a chum of mine that I simply had to own a Speedmaster. I purchased one, complete with the plastic crystal and fake moon landing advertisement on the caseback. It failed to wow me and I subsequently gifted it to said friend. Looking back, I think that perhaps it was part of his master plan to score a free watch. I really have not kept up with the brand as of late. At one time, an Omega SMP was considered to be a pretty good starter watch for those aspiring to own a Submariner. Is the quality really worth the price tag? I just looked at some current prices on Omegas and I must say I am shocked. It appears Omega has stolen the Panerai sales model. Apparently if you price it high enough and strategically place it in a few movies strapped to the wrist of some up and coming actor, then the uninformed masses will buy it. "Hey, look at me ... I have the same watch that James Bond wears". Pardon me, I digress. Personally, I would much rather spend my change on a Glashutte Original. GO represents incredible "bang for the buck". Anyone who owns one will attest to the quality and exclusiveness of their timepieces.
