Sinn 801a, a beast...¡¡¡

Post by vegaban » Fri Dec 03, 2010 8:06 am

Reminds me a german tank...

Image

I had only seen a pair of pics from Nalu before in the Net...

Image

In the Sinn catalogue from late 80s until 1993, its huge and massive...

Image

Note that there was another Sinn 801a, with the M.R.P.S.A. case, 801a ( Automatic ) & 801q ( Quartz )

Image Image

This case is an assimetrical 43mm in diam an 18mm in height...

Image

Note the "Deco" table on the bezel..

A "lumeshot"...

Image

Inside, an ETA 2878 caliber...

Image

I hope you like it.

My friend, do you realize that if you took your incredible pics, and added a brief comment to each one, put them in a book, you would probably sell ALL of them here? Seriously ... what are you waiting for? You are killing me with these pics. And, they are not just everyday watches either. Any dive watch fan would love all of this stuff put in a book. DO IT.

New one for me. Can Sinn just keep getting cooler?

And I agree with what David said. Just awesome as always.

That font looks like it belongs on the credits of a 70's western. Bonanza? Gunsmoke?
