BR03 Diver Full Lume mini review

Post by stonehead887 » Sat Apr 17, 2021 1:47 pm

Hey guys,

Been meaning to post this for a while now. As some of you know, I am somewhat of a Bell and Ross fan and when this was released, I just had to have it.
The case dimensions of the 03 range is well documented so no need to go in to that.
What makes this special is the full ceramic case and full lume dial.
As said, case design is well known, but for info, this is 42mm square case. The texture and finish of the case is amazing, it sort of shimmers in the light.
Being ceramic it is inert to temperature and is anti magnetic. On the wrist is very comfortable and the ceramic holds body temp quickly, it never feels hot, cold, sweaty etc. It just sits on the wrist.
Bezel is also full ceramic with 60 clicks, its has a very positive click with zero playback or wobble. Screw in crown and crown guards are direct descendant of the old, and no longer available, 02 dive watch.
The case retains all of the 03 design details but is slightly thicker but still just a shade over 12mm.
The dial. This thing is a torch, the lume is insane. During the day, the color is perfect, with applied indicese giving good contrast. At night the contrast is just as good and lume easily lasts all night.
The overall combination of the black case and green dial is very appealing and different without too much fuss. It draws attention but doesn't say look at me!
Movement is SW200 and gets the job done. This watch is not about the movement, its all about case materials and they all work very well together.
It comes with a black rubber strap and velcro type all in a peli case and you get a patch too. I have it on the orange rubber and I think it suits it quite well.

That's really cool Jeremy
We don't see many B&R watches on here. Love that dial colour and I imagine it's a really light watch to wear.

It fits really well, my wrist is about 6.5 inches. Lug to lug must only be about 44mm.

Jeremy, you just made me like B&R even more than I did a minute ago, and I
already thought they were terrific ! :headbang:  This watch really seems
exceptional, as well as exceptionally well made. Man oh man, it's is flawless
really. Not to mention incredibly fun, along with cool looking. 8-) 8-) Just the
lume dial takes your breath away, and on this design with the combination
of finishes, and colors, it's incredible.

Hope you keep on enjoying this, and definitely enjoyed the fantastic review !
Thanks so much !!!
