(Old pic)
Re: WRUW = Sunday 11th April '21 =
Tossed a Zulu on this, since it takes straps straight through with no “curve up” over the lugs, which makes it wear nicely on the wrist.

Thanks, it's very comfortable leather-backed canvas.
I bought it from a seller on WUS, here's a link to a different strap he has for sale.

I’ve always liked this model, but I’ve never owned it until now. I believe it’s thinner than the bond version (at least it feels that way) that I’ve owned for a long time. I think it’s probably due to the thinner movement.

That model is my first nice watch, and basically started me on this crazy hobby and I still have it today. It could use a full service, any suggestions on who to send it to?

A great day. Breakfast with my nephew and his family in Atlanta, drinks and dinner in Asheville, NC with an old high school friend and his wife tonight. Now relaxing at our creekside RV campsite with a glass of wine before bed.

It's hard to go wrong with Archer for Omega, but a watchmaker in FL (recommended by a couple DWCers) has been one of my go-tos for all sorts of watch related needs lately.MDF wrote: ↑Sun Apr 11, 2021 7:25 pmThat model is my first nice watch, and basically started me on this crazy hobby and I still have it today.
