Le Jour's Le Mans Chronograph

Post by AtomicTom » Fri Apr 09, 2021 10:07 am

Has anyone had time to see Le Jour's Le Mans Chronograph already?

The watch comes in eight nice dial, sub-dial, and bezel set-ups, or
combinations. With details like a 42mm stainless steel case, domed
sapphire crystals, 200m WR, recessed sunray, or matte sub-dials on
a fleet of dials, multiple bracelets, and ETA 7750 Automatic as well.

I like those - maybe not $1,400 worth of like - but they still look good

Not bad, Tom; but not a fan of those odd sub-dial markers.

Like the first and third versions.

I get the Gnomon emails and really like these. Remind me of Tudor Bit Blocks without the inflated costs. Only thing 8 don't like on all the LJ models is the clasp, seems cheap to me.

I like them. $1400 for a chrono doesn't seem bad.

I asked CS (today) if the same clasp is on both style bracelets; anyone know the answer?

Yeah that's the weak point for me. I hate that style clasp.

At 17mm thicc, that's too much for me.
19.4mm on a nato.

I really liked the blue one.

It IS thick but lugs curve down nicely to same level as case back. My Sinn was 16.5 for a smaller case and I was with it. Mid case wasn’t too thick. I prefered that to the slab sided 15.9-16mm of the BB to be honest
But yeah a bit worried about the thickness to be honest. Though I’d never wear it on nato personally.probably canvas

Thanks Matt.
Brand names aside this thing killed Tudor novelties from W&W 2021. Imagine if Tudor rolled these out last week. 5-year wait list minimum

 They really are stunning Brice, and they have so many variations also.

Definitely have a Tudor way about them too, you're right ! ..I honestly did
not mean to tempt you. But definitely think one of these would fit perfectly
into your collection, and on your wrist. :)

Am so happy you liked them so much ! THX so much for giving your two cents !!!

I don't usually love the 7750 layout, but those are cool, especially the black with black chapter ring.
