Post by AtomicTom » Tue Apr 06, 2021 12:37 pm

Guys, did you by chance check out Hamilton’s new Khaki
Aviation X-Wind Automatic Chronographs?

These watches have 45mm stainless steel cases, 100m WR,
sapphire crystals, internal, and external bezels, blue, along
with Sandstorm Beige dials with eye-catching hands, numbers,
and markers, H-21 automatic movement, and riveted fabric
pilot’s style fabric straps too.

Here is a look..

A crosswind & drift angle calculator, I really would find that useful.....said no watch collector ever. Top marks for coming up with something that really is different though and both of them are really nice looking watches. The blue one kind of reminds me of the Sinn Arktis

I owned an X-Wind about 10 years ago. It came in handy for calculating flatulence drift.

I find the day date on the left refreshingly different
Much of the rest is clutter

I like complicated watches aesthetically, so the blue one works for me. I wouldn’t buy one, but I’d wear it.

The blue one looks really nice, if a bit busy. I don't think I could read all the small writing/numbers either...

But it looks aesthetic.

I had one about ten years ago. The lume was awful, but it was a good looking watch. The camo would be fun to have if you could get it cheap enough.

Topper has one of the original models on sale for a pretty good price if anyone's interested. Depending on the color scheme, I always thought it was a pretty cool looking watch. Just too big for me I suspect.

It’s a hockey puck.

Believe it or not I have had many conversations in designing hospitals discussing "fecal clouds"..... Maybe this watch would help my mechanical engineers.

Alright guys, it seems like there is a nice dark brown PVD
model as well with green camouflage dial as well. Just saw
it today, along with the original two we saw here above..

Check them out...
