Not to get too cyber stalker-ish, but it looks like Ko Olina.

Across the street from your hotel is a restaurant called The Monkey Pod. They make a great Mai Tai. I copy their recipe and have gotten pretty good at replicating their foam. Definitely recommended.

Down the street from your hotel is a small beach called “secret beach”. It’s public, but very small and private. It is a favorite spot for wedding photos (I’ve seen tons of brides there over the years) and they sometimes film Magnum PI there (the scene where he boats onto beach is there). Great place for snorkeling with the kids as there are a ton of fish and sea turtles in the cove. It is right near where they do the luau.

@ Paul - if your trips aligned, you could rent a pontoon boat at the Marine base and take them out into K Bay. That is a great trip for snorkeling, etc. You have to take an online boat safety course, but the rental fee is very reasonable.

Enjoy Oahu! I’m very jealous!

Nailed it. I’m impressed, though I’m sure the wristbands helped! ;) Ko Olina it is!

I’ll try out those Mai Tais. So far, all of our drinks have been from the hotel bars. You can make any drink a double for only $1.50 more, so I’ve been subsisting on that. :)
