Tudor Releases New Watches April 7th
Re: Tudor Releases New Watches April 7th
I couldn't agree more about a smaller Pelagos and while we're at it, the BB blue would be an improvement for the Pelagos. The current blue is just a bit much to me.

Every year my daughter puts a glass of wine out for Eliyahu and then I chug it while she's opening a door to let him in. I'd prefer a new watch.

Still waiting for a Batman pelagos. I made a janky render. With a darker blue perhaps and 58 style even better.
Re: Tudor Releases New Watches April 7th
I’m okay with the date on Pelagos, it’s integrated rather well in the scheme especially with the OG having the lume plot next to date. They just need to make it thinner and drill the holes in the right place. Tudor always drills lug holes in the wrong place for straps

Oh yeah! They have all been mentioned in this thread already, but I would love a GMT in the BB58 case or a smaller Pelagos would be great (plus if it is a GMT). I would even be tempted with a Pelagos in its current case size but with a GMT movement.dukerules wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 7:50 amCorrect, or the BB58 case. Some may disagree, but I think the BB58 case is easily the best case in the current entire Rolex/Tudor lineup.Jeep99dad wrote:40mm Pelagos with slimmer mvt and case would be a huge sellerdukerules wrote:58 Pelagos and 58 GMT would likely both be must haves.

^ Yup on holes.
I called an AD and there's been talks of P02 and South Flag.

This always cracked me up (even though Jerry Seinfeld is, true to form, a terrible actor):JP Chestnut wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 9:19 amEvery year my daughter puts a glass of wine out for Eliyahu and then I chug it while she's opening a door to let him in. I'd prefer a new watch.

Ooooh a Pelagos Chronograph?? That would be interesting. I’ve seen a ton of renders of a GMT version but never considered a chrono before.Panerai7 wrote:Pelagos Chrono or GMT

Thinner cases all around would be a very welcome change for me. And they need to lose the fake rivet bracelets, very tacky.

Wow another sports model that will be next to impossible to get. ATM I'm pretty over the whole lack of supply and BS AD dance you need know in order to get a sports watch at MSRP.

When it was Daytonas and things like that I could deal with it. Now it’s basically anything inclusive of all the decent Tudors. Who has time for that shit?

If I were starting from scratch now with luxury watches, I’d be looking at Omega instead of Rolex or Tudor. Omega has its fair share of misses, but now that they seem to have figured out the coaxial movement they’ve got plenty of good designs to choose from, and you can actually buy them without any drama.JP Chestnut wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 4:48 pmWhen it was Daytonas and things like that I could deal with it. Does omega have a bb58 sized diver? If so, that would be a good watch.JBZ wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 5:12 pmIf I were starting from scratch now with luxury watches, I’d be looking at Omega instead of Rolex or Tudor. they really should consider that part of the market. they've totally ignored it. they keep getting thicker.
