Also waiting on mine.
Waiting as well. Synchron informed me it wouldn't be shipped until the 2nd or 3rd week of April.

The black one looks great on that strap.

Thanks, Jay; great combo with yours on bracelet.

I rarely talk about watches and my wife, kind of like oil and water.

However, she got the watch from the FedEx guy earlier today.

Later, she asked me to show her the watch which I didn't want to do.

She basically told me to man up - she wanted to see "how different" it was compared to all my other watches.

Her reaction surprised me:

Not only did she like it, but thought it looked "military" (guess the design works).

A lot of unhappy members on WUS because of delayed shipping and watches not sent out in order of purchase.

Synchron just posted a response that seems more than reasonable:

We apologize for the inconvenience and the delay. 33 stainless steel orders are delayed, the remainder of the orders were announced for delivery in June and we are almost certain they will make it by the end of June. The reasons for the delay were mentioned in a prior post and we don't want to put the blame on anyone else, because the final responsibility lies with Synchron, even though the pandemic has been a major factor for delays in the past 12 months. For this reason, we will be adding an additional black ISOfrane ($129.00 value) strap to every delayed order, but we are also giving the option to cancel and get a refund anytime. Every refunded order is entitled to receive an additional 10% discount on one future Synchron purchase, even on reduced pre-order prices.

Please send your order cancellation to Synchron ONLY via this contact form: Contact - Synchron Watches

Still waiting on mine but since I thought it would be June delivery when I ordered mine, I’m all good.

I can appreciate what Synchron has done but I had to cancel my order for a SS version. The delays, with the lack of transparency and communication, left a bad taste in my mouth. Cool watch and I am sure will be a cult (re) classic but this whole mess reminds me of Olivier.

For the old timers with some legs. What a sh!t show. Similar trend here.

I'll admit to clicking "Olivier" on Watchrecon every once in a while to remind myself how glad I am that I got my $ back from PayPal.

Yeah I don’t see how this situation is like Oliver at all.

I’d still buy one if they were available. I’ll see what the Doxa offering is like. I don’t think the wait is too onerous at all, and people seem to be getting there watches. I’ve got a down payments down on 2 watches right now, and I’ll probably be waiting a few months.

That’s your opinion. I happen to similarities in a promised product that includes timelines only for them to be missed and then the manufacturer not being honest with customers.

But like I said. Your opinion. Whatevs homey.

weird they are now just having delays. this has been going on for over a year. i would have thought they would have under promised and then over delivered to make it happen.

How many are waiting? 33? And they shipped all others so far?
And they offered to refund and give a future 10% discount or an isofrane if you wait?

That doesn’t sound like Oliver at all nor does it sound like they are scamming anyone.

The factory was probably making them in batches and there was a delay.
This wasn’t a 6 month preorder either. Some got there watches a week after order.

You wanna see a scam? Google Hamtun H3-KS backers been waiting since November but original campaign was in April. No end in sight apparently either as the owner has personal issues and depression or some shit and dealing with a sick mom, or so that is the excuse. Either way the campaign made $265,000, but I don’t think anyone has received their watch.

Well, all the quitters seemed to have opened a couple slots for anyone who was on the fence and missed the original opportunity.

LuDi’s pictures pushed me over the edge and I just bought a stainless steel one.

I’m fine to wait a couple months and Synchron has been around long enough that I have confidence in their ability to either deliver the watch or issue a refund. Heck, I use PayPal attached to an Amex, so the buyers protection is pretty solid (although I really doubt I’ll need to go to any extreme measures).

You can purchase one on the website, even though the first page of the site indicates that it is sold out.

This email came in late last night from Synchron...

We tried hard but couldn't make it in time..
Unfortunately, we are contacting you to inform you that last batch of 33 orders of the Synchron Military stainless steel model will be delayed by 8 weeks (Late June 2021) due to unforeseen delays in the supply chain of components for Swiss movements caused by the long lockdowns of the pandemic which have affected the whole industry.

We have tried hard to source the components earlier but didn't succeed. We bear full responsibility and like to apologize for the delay and offer you one of the following options:

1. You can cancel your order anytime and receive a full refund by sending a message using this link: https://synchronusa.com/contact/. And if you request a refund, you will be entitled to a 10% discount of one future synchron brand purchase for a watch or a strap of your choice.

2. You can Continue with your order, you will receive an additional 20mm black ISOfrane strap ( a $129 additional value) to make up for the wait and the frustration. This is the default option and in case you agree to it, you don't need to do anything.

3. You can also request a refund (not a cancellation) of the deposit paid amount but still keep your order and once the pieces are back in stock, you can place your order again. You will not lose your order priority!

Please note that the above options can be selected or changed by sending a message ONLY through this contact form: https://synchronusa.com/contact/.

We are sorry that our supplier has let us down and apologize of the delay
best regards
