Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical on Bracelet
Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical on Bracelet
Probably won't be everyone's cup of tea, but the Khaki Field Mechanical is now available on a bracelet. I like it. Even if you prefer the watch on leather or nylon, I think it's good to have a bracelet option. You can always change it out.

I prefer it on leather, but that bracelet doesn't look bad at all.
Re: Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical on Bracelet
I like that combination more than I thought I would.

Yeah, wow, love this Jeff, and if you did want a strap, you can change it
just like you said. I swear too, this finish looks different though,
and almost titanium-like as they said in the article. It's gorgeous imho !
So now you get a super cool new version of the Khaki Field, and just
as you are saying you can take that bracelet off if you want. It's a win
win !!
And we win just getting to know about it. Thank you sir !!!

Re: Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical on Bracelet
They have had this bracelet as an option for years I thought? Somehow I purchased an old hand cranked with date from an AD with the same bracelet in 2014ish. I think it was off one of the auto models. My pet peeve with it was how the end links extend past the lugs just a little bit.

kind of weird that it does not taper. it has to be a light bracelet, the watch head is super light. my biggest complaint with the Seiko SPB149 is the bracelet weighed exactly what the watch head did. it felt weird on my wrist due to that.

I think there's a slight taper (like 20 to 18), but I agree it's not very noticeable if it's there. I've had the 38mm khaki field auto with the bracelet. Assuming the same set-up here, I found that the bracelet balanced well with the watch.toxicavenger wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 7:27 pmkind of weird that it does not taper. it has to be a light bracelet, the watch head is super light. my biggest complaint with the Seiko SPB149 is the bracelet weighed exactly what the watch head did. it felt weird on my wrist due to that.

I had that bracelet ( or a very similar one) on a Hamilton Khaki Chrono many years ago. Well made but big, heavy, no taper etc.
Re: Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical on Bracelet
I have the same but quartz on a bracelet. I got it here from Ben. Mine still lives on the nato .
