Wearing this again nothing like wearing a watch that was military issued that was once used as intended in a cockpit of a aircraft not one made for civilians just for looks.

The numbers on the back must be some sort of equipment code? Or maybe the crew member's ID? Interesting it was changed at some point.

Back of a WW2 era British issued watch were it was reclassified.

Armand Nicolet MM2, their new pilot. Lots to like case shape/finish/proportions , dial texture and raised numerals, and even the funky hour hand, but I’d have done the date/6 differently like omit the 6 all together or ND. I do like the date is at 6.
Will make a great strap watch.
