Had a blue one and miss it. The case is really beautiful. I have a small wrist and liked how it looked on the bracelet and even more on the Bremont rubber. It was too thick for me for nato wear though, if those are your plans.

Thanks - my plan is to wear it on the OEM rubber - we shall see
If I had to do it all over again, I would get it on rubber only. Unfortunately I can't find any pictures of the watch on rubber.

The S500 is one of my most highly rated dive watches. Well finished, great accuracy, tough AF.

Crazy clear photo, Carl! It almost looks like you pulled a wet suit glove on and took a photo in front of a poster.

You must have one heck of an underwater camera rig.
Heh, true. That is the HMAS Swan about 25m behind my arm, so the vis was awesome on that dive.

The secret is to run dual strobes (flashes) mounted wide on a gantry and have them pointing further away to the side so that the edge of the cone of light they each emit only just overlaps on the focus target. That way the detritus in the water between the camera and target has almost no light on it and remains virtually invisible.

I may be picking your brain a bit later in the year about camera recommendations. My son (12) is desperate to learn to dive. I’m working on she-who-must-be-obeyed to let him get his junior open water certificate.

I know I’ll dive a lot more often once my son is eager to go.

^^ Carl - those are incredible pictures - really excited to get the watch now - lands tomorrow. I'm actually going on a trip in a couple of weeks and will have the opportunity to dive for several days. TBH, though, I'll probably wear an Ares or Gshock - we get banged around A LOT.

It's a great watch, you will love it. It suits an Isofrane more than any other watch I have owned...just sayin ;-)

Just use the 4-words of manliness on her, and all will be well.

Bit late to the party, but I have one and love it. My only gripe is the rubber strap is so heavy duty I find it a bit uncomfortable. It is a bit thick, but the lug shape works well on the wrist. It also has the same shock protection and ant-mag' as the MB.
Regards

Steve
