Impulse buy from Topper - Seiko SNR033
On my phone, so gonna keep it brief. I don’t know why this one doesn’t get more hype. Titanium, spring drive, traveler’s GMT, on-the-fly micro-adjustment in the clasp (a la EZ-Link), blue dial, great size.
This one has been on my radar since release, but it never comes up for sale secondhand. Well, I was at Topper today, and left with it BNIB...
This is probably one of the best GMT daily wearer candidates out there, regardless of brand.
Probably the best Seiko bracelet I’ve experience so far.

Blame Tapatalk. And a whole bottle of wine. And some scotch. Meant to post in the main forum. Fortunately, I’m an admin, so I can move it quietly...

It’s hard to capture the colors on this one with indoor light.

That looks really nice Matt. What’s its size? It looks hefty.

Dig this one. With the SD movement and price point I’ve always been curious as to why Seiko made it a Prospex model as opposed to a GS model

It’s big on paper. 44mm or so. But it’s Ti, so it’s light. And L2L isn’t bad.JP Chestnut wrote:That looks really nice Matt. What’s its size? It looks hefty.
Re: Impulse buy from Topper - Seiko SNR033
100% with you. Not sure about Seiko’s reasoning there. They easily could have changed nothing about this watch, slapped a GS title on it, charged the same, and no one would be the wiser. The finishing on this one is on par.r.palace wrote:Dig this one. With the SD movement and price point I’ve always been curious as to why Seiko made it a Prospex model as opposed to a GS model

Looks thick! What’s the measurement? When I first saw this I thought it was a GS. Congrats on the new pick up!

Nice! So Seiko has an on-the-fly adjustable bracelet but not Grand Seiko? Did you also check out the GS SBGJ237 and compare the 2?
Re: Impulse buy from Topper - Seiko SNR033
Love this one. Wish they would make some of these spring drive sports watches in smaller sizes.

Very nice! I'm a huge fan of spring drive, nothing smoother.

The Beast from the East
Great pickup, love the colors and glad to hear the bracelet and clasp are better than expected. Also, good to know it has an independent hour hand, there aren’t but a few movements that do that these days.
Well done
