Happy New Year!

I'm enjoying a Christmas gift from my sister. It's excellent.

Thanks bud. I don't usually talk about this stuff but my daughter has always had some aspergers-like challenges to go along with her super high IQ. All the shit this year has ramped them up to almost an unlivable degree. The toll it's taking on our family, my work, and marriage has made for a really really hard year.

I know everyone has shit they have to deal with, so I'm sorry to dump. It's just been a hard fucking day.

You just got that a few days ago? Lol that’s more than I drink in a year - I barely drink any more.

Have fun!

You’re right, we all have shit to deal with, but that doesn’t mean we can’t lend an ear when someone needs to dump.

We’re here for you. Better days are coming. 👍

Two bottles of prosecco, two bottles of cabernet and now this. Fuck this year. Feeling good right now though.

Nice! We could hang. We’re finishing the second bottle of wine now after “tasting” for 3 hrs this afternoon.

My son has Asperger’s. It gets better. Good luck dealing with it until then.

Good deal. My wife and I started with mimosas with the prosecco and then the first bottle of cab was opened with our dinner with garlic lime salmon with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. We definitely like to drink but we also love to cook and pair good wines with our meals. I don't drink much beer these days but I've been exploring more whiskey and bourbon. Sounds like you're doing it right as well!

Everyone should feel okay to dump from time to time. It’s been a tough year for everyone to varying degrees. Here’s wishing you and your family a better year.

This one is pretty good- not a lot of places around sell higher end rum- mostly Bacardi and Capt Morgans.

Have you tried Diplomático? From Venezuela, one of my favorites.

God I’ve come to hate cpt Morgan’s. So cloyingly over-the-top vanilla.

My favorite random rum nobody knows is Stroh rum from Austria. Favorite cheap rum is Krakan. Favorite bar rum is sailor Jerry’s. Haven’t had enough aged rum yet.

I am a mostly Plantation guy. But, yes, I have Diplomatico at home. I like to try anything new that I haven't tried.
