WRUW 11.13.2020 (Friday the 13th!!)

In honor of my late brother’s birthday, and the weirdness that has been 2020, I figured I would kick this one off.

Wore my Planet Ocean XL yesterday (forgot to post) on a newly procured Omega Bond NATO.

And once I’m done wearing my Tactix in the gym, I’ll be wearing my 562 today.

The slim profile, SEL, true GMT (which I use a lot as I work with markets on different time zones) and overall great size make it one of my favorites.
It's the watch I always come back to. Everything I need and nothing I don't. I'd love to be able to get a polar version at some point to go with this one. I think I would be pretty happy with that combo and nothing else. I guess a 1655 or a cream dial 16550 would be fun, but the prices are beyond me.

I'm curious to see if Rolex does anything new with the Explorer II next year - it's the 50th anniversary of the model.
