As others get their orders, I would be curious to hear what was in your box from Ashford.

Mine was just the cardboard box, some bubble wrap (not a lot) and the Eterna box.

No invoice, receipt, or anything else.

I've only purchased one other watch from Ashford and it came better packed and included an invoice and little pamphlet with return information. Just a bit curious with the lack of those items. No big deal either way I guess.

That appears to have the bigger Eterna-Matic font. I"m curious if any of these show up with the different style bracelet with the push button clasp.

I was tempted to order one on the weekend but remembered I sold my other 2 for a reason.....

Wish I’d gotten mine at that price, but even though it is larger than ideal, I still dig it completely.

Not sure if it was mentioned earlier.... What is the dial opening diameter on these?

Thanks.

Well, this one isn’t for me. Just started the return process.

Hilariously - my wife made this note last week when I told her I was buying a new watch.

She gave you a month, but you're returning it right away. She clearly has more faith in you than is warranted.

Too funny! My wife is basically done with the hobby nowadays, doesn't comment unless I point out that I have a new watch. Guess that's a bonus???

Out of curiosity, how was your watch packaged? Did you get any Ashford paperwork (invoice, warranty pamphlet, etc.) or just the watch in a box?

Again, this is only the second watch I ever purchased from them, but my example experiences are almost completely opposite - one decent and one very poor.

And the DWC BoD award for the greatest picture without watch on goes to Zidane's Wife.

That note should be a sticky somewhere in this forum.

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had
But this watch is never wrong
And If I have trouble the warranty said

Same experience as you. OEM box halfway wrapped in bubble wrap; no paperwork other than a blank warranty card at the bottom of the box. Image

Picked mine up today. #1354/1973. Big logo, no “end links” on the mesh. Seatbelt buckle.

Packaging was as described, but it doesn’t bother me.

Size works well for me. I’m happy with it. Is it a $2k watch? That might be pushing it. But it’s a stellar value in the quality you get for $800.

The hand set on these reminds me of those perpetual motion swinging desk toys

I hesitated maybe for a few minutes on the site. In the meantime, it got sold. For that price and with 10% disc.code this was a hot deal indeed

Got mine today # 16XX
Tried to post pics but all of a sudden it’s not letting me
Same as others it looks like it was packed by someone who is not a watch enthusiast
Took me a while to open the class till i remembered seat belt clasp
It’s a little snug, I will try it like that for a while as adding a link looks a pain
