not a fan of the double stick markers on the new 41, however I am a fan of the 41 Sub (realistically not happening anytime soon)

Ok, so the new LV and the blue bezel Sub *are* pretty sweet.

That's what all the fuss has been about?? Pretty much exactly the same watch - with some very subtle updates.

Definitely subtle, but anyone who has owned a maxi case Rolex knows that they wear like a square on the wrist. I'm willing to bet these are going to be much more appealing to most people (who for the most part won't be able to get one at MSRP).

Have not seen it confirmed, but sounds like the Subs now have 21mm lugs, which is a big ugh for me.

Makes sense given the slimming of the lugs and the upsizing of the case.

And I will take the Smurf and Hulk over the black dial versions with blue and green bezels. The dials are what draw me to those watches. Of course, next year they expand the lineup.

I really wanted a titanium SD43 with no date.

It’s like they listen but takes a long time :)
Now what else was on my wishlist?
IWC pilots without stupid windshield wiper date window - check
Larger sub with normal lugs - check
Speedy with matte ceramic bezel - supposedly next year
44mm 1389/1305 - still waiting
Screw down crowns Polaris - still waiting
41-42mm Explorer 1 - waiting
Ceramic bezel Explorer 2 - waiting
42mm 2254 reissue - waiting

Is it me or does the new 41 sub dial look smaller?

Bezel is apparently a touch wider, so likely perception is smaller dial

I like the yellow and teal OP 41s, mostly because they're the least Rolexy Rolexes ever.

Funny because the reminded me of early Stella dials.

Meh... just more shit I love from Rolex and can’t afford anymore.

I like the new sub case shape, and I think the black dial/green bezel combo looks really good. Not sure about the black/blue. 21mm lugs don’t bother me. I’d never take it off the bracelet anyways.

Don’t really care about “all the colors of the rainbow” OP.

I’d wear the orange or yellow. I don’t think I’d pay $5k for one, though.
