Not sure if you guys had time see the Fortis Flieger F-43 Bicompax yet.

Black Opalin dial with C5 Flieger Green luminous hands, and markers,
plus Illuminated BRIX (Brixtrack) markers, UW-51 automatic chronograph
movement, along with stainless steel bracelet, or leather strap option.

Just a few pics...

It's kind of cool looking, (although that 'BICOMPAX' label is a bit silly), but the price is kind of mind boggling: $4K for a Fortis on bracelet with a Sellita movement?? Again, heading into Speedmaster Profressional territory...

Not bad, Tom; but if I pick up a chrono, it will be the Mido...

which is another one of your finds.

Why is the date orange and in other photos, white?
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

Both the Fortis and Mido are quite nice. That price range however is out of place.

That Mido does look hot. The Fortis bracelet has a "quick-adjustable slide-clasp" - nice - now when will Sinn do that :cussing: :banghead:

Not bad. Street price under $2k, I would assume.

It's different isn't it guys?!! :) Basically takes the old style pilot's watch,
and updates things more I guess. With there being a lot of bold, along
with semi subtle details right?! You have the eye-catching colors, and
font, and then dueling lume methods. Not to mention the really cool
finished case, bezel, and bracelet.

Other than the price, this one seems insanely nice ! By the way, thanks
a ton for finding out more about the price for us Andrew, and Chris !!

Hey, and Matt, that Mido is just out of this world too !!! :excited: To be honest
I kind of, or almost forgot about that one. Beautiful ! ..Oh, and Gerald,
what an awesome eye there ! :o Didn't even notice that date being two
different colors. Maybe you can actually choose the date wheel color,
or maybe it's because the watch was possibly in the planning stages yet.
Yowza, great detective work !

Thanks so so much just for looking, and especially for your opinions guys !!!

Really is Terry, and really mean at the same time. 8-) In a way, Mido is
a lot like Fortis, in that they are great at being classic. Or even modern, and
edgy if they choose to be. It keeps things interesting. Or fresh as they say ! :)
