When you can buy a brand new Speedmaster Professional on a bracelet from an AD for just a tiny bit more than some of Sinn's chronographs on a strap, then you know Sinn's prices are getting too high.

They are. Plus the whole US monopoly sucks. If i want one new I’ll get it in Europe. But even then for the $ I’d get something else

Agreed. From Germany minus Vat maybe okay, but still kinda high. In USA I’m not paying Tudor money for Seilita

Kinda dumb how they tried to make it a joke with that fake text thread email.

“Hey, the American economy is currently shit due to Covid- how about we raise our prices?”

While I like their stuff, it would have to be something super special for me to buy another Sinn.

Never owned a Sinn. Only one or two have ever appealed to me, and for the cost, I’ll spend my $$ elsewhere.

And from the right AD, the Speedmaster will be discounted.

Hey! That was 24 days ago! Hoppy has learned from that and he now knows not to do such a thing.

I did, the U50, because it seemed (and actually was) “super special” - but it only lasted a couple days, thus my comment.

Frankly, the Ares and Sangin are easily covering the area Sinn would in my small stable.

My stable will probably be stuck at 4 for a while now, and if I wanted another chrono, I would highly consider a "sinn lite" with a Guinand instead of sinn.

I really thought you’d like the u50.
It just seems perfect with the dimensions

Hoppy is a big individual. What he really wants is a U1P in Ti.

I’m pretty large as well.
I do agree a u1P in Ti would be a dream come true.
