Seiko 6306-7001

Post by BBK357 » Sat May 23, 2015 8:15 pm

I'm trying to remember that watch. Here's my take.

For a few days we squabbled back and forth like 2 elderly men choosing appetizers at red lobster. After a price was settled it was paid and shipped.
After I received it I noticed it has time keeping issues and the crown was shitty. Per you I emailed jack and shipped it to him. He adjusted the time and said the crown is wonky because it has an extra thick gasket.
So after wearing it for a few weeks I was not satisfied. And after closer inspection the lume was as sloppy as Christy Mack's c+^t.
I decided to list it and if I remember correctly I did PM you when I did.... Through SCWF because I was banned from DWC at the time. I'm pretty sure you replied saying you couldn't do it.

And this marks the first time I met Serdal. I was extremely confused by his language. I thought he was joking but he was not. So anywho I sold and shipped it to him, and he was very grateful.
Thank you all very much for your very kind words, Comrades, very much appreciated.

Dude I guess I eat crow again and owe you an open apology. My bad. I also take back all the things I said that you didn't hear, mainly about how I was going to come find you in Ohio, beat you up and take your Sinns. Dammit. See, this is why I should have laid off the bourbon way sooner than I did. I do remember the crown had tight gaskets but don't recall its bedside demeanor. Ok, so that part is resolved now. Serdal is now next on my list. But considering his gift to me if the Pogue, I'll be much nicer.

Seriously thanks for the recap...again, Ben. ;) :salute:

What appetizers did you end up choosing?

What I learned is:

Serdal's a whore for Seikos
Brad's forgetful and demanding when it comes to watches that aren't his

Yes and yes. You forgot - completely unapologetic about both. But I'll readily admit when I've fucked up! ;)

I didn't forget

Hope you have luck chasing down that 6306. Serdal seems to roll through stuff like everyone else around here, might be a tough hunt

I know. That's what I'm afraid of! Sooner or later it will turn up. Or not. I'll probably move on to something else next week and forget this happened. Then, in about 6 months, I'll ask about the 6306 I sold to Ben a while back and we can start over.

No matter how much you wish it, it won't be so. Now I'm going to sleep and this killed my lottery/stripper/Zack's garage fantasy I was brewing. Thanks.
