So good, but I really wish they'd have done it in grey ceramic or titanium or something other than black. My next watch is gonna be a Blancpain, wish it coulda been this one.

I'm not a fan of this "just make a green version" trend.
Just like a couple of years ago everyone made a blue version
A couple of years ago?

So true Tudor is a little late with 58.

After seeing it in black, I can't understand why anyone would buy this toxic green...

This is Tudor's second round.... all BB 41mm versions will be made on the 39mm case with small tweaks.

If I were a Hammerhead Shark I'd be boycotting Blancpain's efforts to save me.

Another dumb thing is the price. Ceramic with Date is 13,900 and this without a date 15,500. At least Rolex charges less for SubC than SubC Date

It's the Porsche model - the more you take away, the more you charge. That's because purists are willing to pay more for a purer 'experience'.

I'm sure there's enough people who loathe the date on the Bathyscaphe and would be willing to pay more for a version of the watch without it. Not sure the green dial model was the ideal vehicle for a no-date variation, though...

1000 of that 1600 price difference is the portion donated to the hammerheads. The other 600 must be handling and processing.

Oh so you’re paying the $1000 towards this cause while getting a watch that’s arguably cheaper with less complications (date) and then Hayek goes diving with the sharks. Got it.
At least Seiko Save The Ocean doesn’t hike up the price by 12% and takes away the date from the Turtle :)

I’m sure there are more people who loathe the date and cyclops on the SubC yet Rolex charges IIRC 1500$ more for the date

It clearly isn't a cheap and nasty watch, but it does a pretty good impersonation of one, to my eyes. :puke:

Can give this one anything less than   I don't think Andrew !
It's just such an exceptional watch in any form really, and just look at
Brices' !!! :o :salute: Extarordinary seems to be a great way to describe it.

Then with this added stunning green, it makes you appreciate not only
this look, but the timeless design of the Bathyscaphe. Pretty remarkable
Andrew. Or really remarkable honestly !

Thanks a lot !!!
