New Oris Hölstein Edition 2020

Post by AtomicTom » Wed Jun 17, 2020 9:34 pm

Thinking you guys probably have seen the Oris Hölstein Edition 2020.

Named after the Swiss town of Hölstein, where Oris itself is. This special
Diver's Sixty-Five Chronograph has a golden panda dial, 43mm bronze
case, domed sapphire crystal, 100m WR, diver's bezel, the Oris Cal. 771
automatic behind nice Oris Bear case-back, and integrated bronze bracelet
as well.

Here is a look...

Price seems reasonable for the novelty of the bronze bracelet, but I wish they used this to debut an in-house movement instead (and charged more for it).

Couldn't agree more- maybe even make it 200 or 300M, throw in a rubber strap, do something special...They've gotten a lot of mileage out of the Diver 65.

Have to admit, am honestly liking that bear !

Actually would be a lot fun to see on case-backs of their terrrific regular
models maybe too. But wow, what a really great idea with the in-house
movement !  That really would have been special, and perfect
for a special edition like this, or any limited edition. Then later on the
new movement could be used in their normal models. Awesome idea ! :salute:

Thanks a ton as always guys !!!

I like it but wonder how the bronze bracelet will work out. Casebacks aren’t bronze to reduce copper leaching out and causing a green arm.

I like the caseback bear. Not wild about the all bronze look. And, moooo!
