Stowa Replacement Inbound

Post by mattcantwin » Tue Jun 09, 2020 9:02 am

Just went through a catch-and-release of a Stowa Flieger 40mm.

Image

Definitely bummed about moving it out, but it just wore too small.

As a matter of fact, the buyer was initially taken aback as well.

I had to double check to make sure it wasn't a 36 because it wears like one.

I have a small 6.75" and was concerned about the 40" and I'm glad I went with that because it's PERFECT!!!

Just picked up the replacement on WUS; Hanhart Pioneer One Limited Edition (I believe it is a Watchbuys exclusive).

Posting stock pictures because they're hot.

That's a great watch, congrats Matt.

With only 150 pcs made I'm surprised that didn't sell out a long time ago.

Nice - I always liked the uniqueness of that one with the oversized crown and cool bezel.

The watch arrived yesterday.

I usually don't post an "unpacking" thread, but this is my first Hanhart and it's a bit unique (reminds me of Bremont).

Starts with a box...

Image

that has a sleeve..

Image

with a leather case inside...

Image

that "unsnaps" to reveal the watch inside, snapped into place.

Image

Initial impressions are all good; heftier than expected, size works perfectly and great dial design.

Image

Not surprised the strap is too small for me to wear.

Now I have to find a strap combo that I like and Chris doesn't hate.

Two year limited manufacturer's warranty
Watches may be serviced in the US by RGM
Our Hanhart watches have not been displayed in a retail store or tried on by others
We're here to answer questions or provide assistance before and after your purchase
We visit Hanhart in Germany on a regular basis to stay fully updated on all new models and production features
WatchBuys offers a comprehensive return policy on all Hanhart watches

We invite you to review the entire collection of Hanhart watches, an important part of German watch history since 1882.

I saw this one at the WB Roadshow. It’s very cool in the flesh. Lume is very good too!

Hopefully this one will stick with you
