One more project Mariana Mil Sub
One more project Mariana Mil Sub
This is one I just completed, it took forever to find the hands, the dial fortunately is available from a watch forum member (WUS).
The basic watch is a Ticino with Seiko movement, sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel. I think it came out pretty nice actually, about 40mm wide and 20mm lugs. I have to take better photos but these will give an idea...

Nailed it!
Re: One more project Mariana Mil Sub
Nice job - I like it.
Re: One more project Mariana Mil Sub
Thank you for the kind words. I bought the dial from this forum member:

The Seiko movements can be all over the place with the time keeping, however most can be adjusted to a pretty good accuracy.

Once again it seems like any, or all of the waiting was really worth the
wait Carlo !
Actually didn't just come out pretty nice sir, and rather came out great,
or extraordinarily, or unbelievably nice imho. Not only did the hands work
perfectly, but they just accentuate the whole dial I think. Plus you have
this back, and forth, or balance of everything past, and present happening.
Always really love that !
Just the classic personality, and then modern day materials like the Ceramic
bezel, and nuclear lume really take your breath away. I mean it honestly
is the perfect dive watch Carlo ! A GIANT congrats once again !!!
