I’d love to be your fiancée!nweash wrote:matt.wu wrote:For the same reason any of us are paying the price we do for any of these watches. Because people will pay what they're asking for it. Then saw the MSRP. No can do.

And for me, I'm liking it 3x more than the regular ones, so it works out for me.
I understand all that. I just never realized bond versions had a premium.
It is the best looking example of a sea master I’ve ever seen. I’m glad to hear you’re liking it. I think this forum is gonna see a few more pop up by the looks of things.
PS if you’re saying my 5 figure Blancpain purchase was illogical well then...you may be my fiancée.

Thanks Matt, appreciate you taking the timematt.wu wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2020 5:53 pmIt feels thin, but it’s added a domed sapphire crystal which potential adds to the thickness dimension (but helps to set it apart from standard version).poppydog wrote:Great looking watch Matt, just seen your insta' post. I am, though, struggling a bit with the price compared with the standard version. Do you have any profile shots to show the thickness? I think I remember reading somewhere it's not quite as thick as the ss model.

Re: WRUW 23 MAY 2020
Thanks again Matt. Interesting comparison: I'd expected the new one to be more obviously larger, but the difference is quite subtle. Still working out how badly I want one: for the same outlay, I could get a Pelagos and Bremont Broadsword, but, hey, balancing things out is part of the fun. Cheers, it really is a stunning piecematt.wu wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 12:31 amThanks for reminding me!poppydog wrote:That's be great, thank youmatt.wu wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 10:02 pmI’ll get a side by side with an older SMP this week.poppydog wrote:Thanks Matt, appreciate you taking the timematt.wu wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2020 5:53 pmIt feels thin, but it’s added a domed sapphire crystal which potential adds to the thickness dimension (but helps to set it apart from standard version).poppydog wrote:Great looking watch Matt, just seen your insta' post. I love that new one, it’d be perfect if it had a bracelet.poppydog wrote:Thanks again Matt.
