Agree. My 16600 is my favorite watch ever.JP Chestnut wrote:Definitely not underrated by me. They’re the pinnacle of modern watches in my opinion. I’ve paid more for a prime five digit that it would cost to get a new six digit many times.
I might actually break out my 14060m if I could for a SEL bracelet.

I picked up a newer 93160A for my SD a few years back. This SEL was leftover and you can see it doesn't sit flush with the case (but doesn't move, and watchmaker said no harm). It's got some extra weight over the 93150, feels good, and doesn't rattle, so I went with it.JP Chestnut wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 10:51 amDefinitely not underrated by me. I might try to go that route. I really don’t like the way that the diver extension flops around on the 14060m clasp.TSD wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 11:39 amI picked up a newer 93160A for my SD a few years back. When I wear 5-digit divers, I also hate the thick, stamped diver clasp. I have a stock clasp from the 78790 bracelet that I use when I wear those.JP Chestnut wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 11:47 amI might try to go that route. My 16600, 16610LV, and GMT2 clasps are all fine IMO. The 14060m uses an older, and crappier, design where the dive extension doesn’t snap into the clasp. It just sort of sits there.matt.wu wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 2:58 pmWhen I wear 5-digit divers, I also hate the thick, stamped diver clasp. I think the snap fit clasp on my very early six digit Daytona is probably the best mix of not too bulky, but still solid.

That's perfect, thank you for the write up!mattcantwin wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 8:11 amVery happy with the watch.
I saw the all black version first; liked it, but not sure I could "justify" the addition of another watch.
Than came across some of the other versions, the blue with the white chapter ring is totally different than anything I already had;
the deep-dish dial is a bit funky - don't have much funky going on.
Glad I was able to pick one up on the bracelet, nice and light, 122 grams.
It's thick, but wears well.
Bracelet is well designed with a clasp that has a fold over buckle and two button release.
However, the center of the end links extends well passed the lugs.
I believe that pushes the lug to lug to around 55mm; might be an issue for some people.
Finally, if I had a choice, I would pass on the under-mounted date magnifier.
Works well, head on.
However, at an angle, it obscures the date.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
