Well, Dr. Brix even admitted that they are including even possibles in the Covid-19 stats. Making the numbers fit the narrative it appears. Dirty pool.

....and before he chimes in, :bird: to the guy I’m thinking of.

After hearing Cuomo say this the other day I guess that was just too much positivity, so adjustments had to be made.

Just ordered a Kindle Paperwhite instead of another book.

Not sure how this will work out; last time I bought a Kindle I ended up giving it away.

I've sold about 1000lbs of werksan bumper plates, concept 2 rower PM5 and my rogue echo bike. I didn't price gouge - basically broke even on purchase price.

I wish I had bunch of cheap 45lb plates around - could have made a ton of profit.

I've still got my power rack, platform and concept 2 bikeerg to keep me busy. I'll probably use the money from these sales for a 5-100lb dumbbell set and maybe some Uesaka or Eleiko bumpers once the rona clears up...

Hope it works out. I tried using one (my wife's), but never could get used to it. Just something about a book.

Once you get it, I do recommend this book written by a friend of mine...

"Eternal Springs: An Introduction to the World of Mechanical Watches" by Eric Gregoire. It's available on Amazon.
"Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things." - George Carlin

once i got into kindle, i never went back. not that i use an actual kindle any more. i use the kindle app on my ipad and my phone. just so much easier to have a book around any time i want one. i read on my phone quite a bit when i'm stuck waiting somewhere unexpectedly. and it's way easier when i'm traveling now. especially since they stopped getting snotty about making you put any electronic device away during takeoff/landing.

I would have used the Kindle app on the iPad, but my wife has been using it a lot these days; opted for the Kindle over a 2nd iPad.

the good thing is, you can still use both. and share books between them. and have them synced up to whatever page you're reading on if you switch devices.

I have a nook, but same thing. It's nice to be able to purchase books without having them pile up around the house.

The bowflex adjustable weights are awesome and save a ton of room. 5-52.5lbs. I’d get that and just buy the heavier weights as needed. I found mine barely used for $60. I’ve used them every other day for about 6yrs and no real issues.

I'd really like to organize this drawer.

But, if I start I'll have to deal with three other drawers that look the same.

Looks pretty good to me. I prefer to focus on throwing away or donating what I don't need. The end result looks much more organized.

I guess this is the place to post this.

I’ve had the worst couple days possibly of my entire life. This quarantine went from great to awful very fast.

I won’t get into it, but I just had to say that out loud to someone.

Today would have been the day my son went in for a surgery consultation.

I’d like to get my son’s surgery behind him... It would be done in a very quaint/private operating room within the pediatric center nobody frequents aside of medical professionals. I would know because this will be his third. The risk of picking up groceries would be ten-fold. Speaking of which, there’s still a lot of people out and about.

Majority of hospitals running at 50% census this whole time. Fully capable PAs and Nurses in specialized fields are out of work BUT Newsom wants every swinging dick volunteer out of retirement to face this overwhelming pandemic head-on, and he’ll even fast-track and cover momentary certs/licensing! Causality collection points (e.g. sleep train arena where the Sacramento Kings used to play) EMPTY.

No wall to wall with patients. No morgue is so full they have to stack body bags in janitor's closets.

This whole pandemic is absurd.
