Aaayup!

How did you end up in the place that's round on the ends and "hi" in the middle?
Well, he said his Dad and Uncle were fishermen, so he probably wanted to be as far away from fresh seafood as possible.

I have a friend who's father was a lobsterman. You couldn't force feed him a lobster today.

Speaking of lobsters - they are cheap off the boat in Rye Harbor now. Restaurants aren't buying, so a lot of the commercial guys are making deals on the docks to keep their income up.
I'd love some cheap lobster. It is stupid expensive in CO.
yes it is! but our local joint is doing a crawfish broil this weekend!!!
We are on our own for seafood. I cannot remember the last time I had good fish since moving here.

Sorry to hear Ed, but I'm sure he'll be fine. I have a couple of FB friends who have it. Wasn't fun for them, but they're on the mend.

Very sorry Ed, but at least he's young and healthy.

Has it been confirmed that you can't be reinfected with this after your symptoms subside?

Our middle son (28) has been working in Mozambique, Africa for an economic development consulting firm. He finally decided it was time to get the hell out of Dodge, so he's been flying from Nampula, Moz. to Maputo, Moz. to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Dublin, Ireland to Washington, D.C.

He took the below selfie in either Ethiopia or Dublin, arriving in D.C about nine hours ago, safe and sound (we hope!). God is good!

WOW what a thread...especially since i posted last. :o

Ed hope your son is going to be OK.

My little vacation to NC to self isolate ended yesterday. One last hurrah this afternoon on the MTB. Longest ride yet.

Back to work tomorrow. Going to be interesting for sure. My fear is that with everyone staying at home, possibly drinking, there are going to be many more family disturbances. I understand our dispatchers are now asking each 911 caller if they have been exposed.

Nice! I did a 2 hr ride today on my fatbike. I bought my house back in Sept and this is the first time I've really had a chance to explore. There's a fantastic network of trails and the easternmost end is basically behind my house. Found a 40' climbing wall, some technical singletrack and a frisbee golf course. the parks and rec here is astoundingly good for a town that has a less than stellar rep lol (Sanford, ME).

From what I've read the working theory is 1-2 years of immunity. They may increase that number as they learn more about this nasty bug.

Apparently once you recover, you have an immunity for 6-8 weeks and then you can get it again.
