No option for me to stay home, unfortunately. We’re doing our best to limit unnecessary public contact.

Was just told I’m on the essential staff list and expected at the refinery if not sick. Good news. Keeps the paycheck coming.

I was told by my doc to monitor my temperature hourly.

My work has changed a lot since last Saturday. I spent nearly 40hr at work in the last 3 days and I’m
Home until Friday. I don’t even want an update while I’m not there because it’ll change by the time my next shift. While I’m at home, I’m not really bothered by this.
My wife is making the kids do homework in the morning and play after. She has to be around her phone or computer to help kids parents until 2pm.
It almost feels like a long weekend.
I’ve always driven far for work and live away from large population, it’s benefiting us for sure.

Our grocery stores aren’t that bad-I got most of what was on the list. It did take a long time just to look for things. I’m doing all the shopping, being around the crowd since I’m most likely to get it anyway.
We keep the TV off of the news and the kids are outside with their friends down the road or playing inside when it rains.

I’m smoking trit tip:

And will be working more on the treehouse project when the weather allows:

All will be fine as long as a car of masked bandits don’t come to take our supplies... and as long as I don’t get the virus.

My wife is going through this now with Sacramento county and the Mayor's "soft shelter in place request" vs. the Bay Area's more serious shelter in place order.

I think when updated epidemiology reports are released there will be another panic and everything will be shut down.

Wife and I are working from home. Doing our best to get out and exercise (hiking/running, etc). Tough to get what we need from the grocery store although we did manage to get TP today...never thought I'd be this excited to get TP in my life but it's a sign of the times.

We have our first child on the way in three weeks, so that's going to be interesting to say the least. In the meantime, just doing our best to stay healthy!

Same for me Chris.

I asked one of our the Deputy Chiefs if there was a Directive for Members, in regard to working on the frontlines and then going home to their families...there’s not.

We are avoiding unnecessary contacts but as you know, in Policing, that is not entirely possible.

Stay safe guys, do what you can to stay healthy, eat well, exercise and maybe a little prayer wouldn’t hurt?!

Thanks fellas! I don't worry about myself so much but I don't want to pass anything to my wife or kids.

Same as Terry for me - mission essential.

Good thing is that most people in the Hampton Roads area have been told to stay home so my drive in to work takes about 12 minutes :)

Stay safe folks! I think if we self quarantine to a large extent we may be past the brutal stage in a few months - to those that think this is a fake news, or a hoax, you're dreaming. Everything I've seen in the last few days (as a federal executive) leads me to believe the 'head shed' in DC is very, very worried about this.

Hope everyone is doing well. My wife and I work from home full time already so that's nice. We stocked up on about 3 wks of groceries last week hoping we don't have to go out much. With hockey leagues closing and not being able to skate in small groups yet I've been running getting ready for races that will probably be cancelled. Need to add in some home strength training now the gyms are closed. Sadly I have a watch in need of sizing but I haven't taken it in.

Thought about killing my wife a couple times.
No doubt she has similar thoughts.

I heard China's divorce proceedings have increased exponentially. Not sure if true but stir-craziness is real, especially with kids.
