250 Fathoms

Post by RALAustin » Sun Feb 23, 2020 2:21 pm

I have found myself in a place with a bit of repetitious Blancpain 50 fathoms symmetry. I should think about selling one or two, but each has something unique that keeps it in the box with steel, titanium and ceramic, 40mm, 43mm and 45mm, blue and black, LE and regular production, brushed and polished, etc...., and all above or near 100 hour reserves. Truth be told, if each one was about 41.7mm or so with drilled 20mm lugs I would buy the X-71 bracelet and every available strap combo and call it a day!

I get it. Collecting variations on a theme makes sense.

I'd probably do it with Explorers and Explorer II's if I had the funds.

Nice group of FF's!

Boy oh boy, this is pretty spectacular Rob, and like you, and the guys
are saying, there is variety, and a lot of variation. :)

Between the materials, sizes, finishes, and dial colors, textures, hands,
markers etc., it’s astonishing ! :o  Almost is like going to a Blancpain
store, or showroom. Astonishing stuff !!!

Thanks a ton for the post !
